Specialized Interview Coaching For Veterinary School, Veterinary Internships, Veterinary Residencies And Veterinary Fellowships

We offer specialized, expert interview coaching for veterinary school, veterinary internships, veterinary residencies, veterinary fellowships and veterinary job interviews. We help you polish your LinkedIn profile, CV and resume, answer difficult and tricky questions, tell compelling stories that showcase your strengths, and help you handle any situation that can arise in an interview. We give you feedback and guidance on your vocal skills, eye contact and body language.

If you experience interview anxiety or stage fright we have a state of the art interview psychology training program to teach you mental toughness, poise, and calmness and focus skills so you'll go into your interviews feeling confident.

If you tend to freeze up and go blank, or forget what you wanted to say, we teach you advanced communication techniques that help you gracefully and diplomatically "stall for time" and gain more data while you can think of what to say.

We teach you the art and science of rapport building so you can reduce your discomfort with small talk and have the interviewer like you.

Our collaborative, professional relationship supports, guides and advises you across the full range of the interview process.

Ultimately, we help you come across to interviewers as a person who will be highly desirable and successful at their institution.

The interview coaching will be conducted by Bill Cole, MS, MA, a thought leader in peak performance, coaching, and the mental game. Bill's degrees include an MA in counseling psychology, and his memberships include the American College of Sports Medicine and Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology.

Bill has been a featured speaker at state, national and international medical conventions. For years he has trained physicians and other medical professionals in many fields in his mental peak performance system. He has trained doctors, staff and office managers in both the medical and dental worlds on how to manage and optimize medical practices from a patient satisfaction perspective. Bill has helped these practices improve their efficiency, hiring practices, training, policies and procedures, marketing, sales, front office procedures and to grow the practice overall.

"I just wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation to you for the work you did with me in preparing for my medical school interviews. Your advice was right on target and proved invaluable as I went through the various interviews. One of the most useful aspects of our coaching sessions was how you helped me identify how my particular non-traditional background could be used to craft a unique story applicable to medicine.

I am happy to share that I received four acceptances out of four medical school interviews! I have decided to attend Touro University in Vallejo, California.

Our coaching sessions were essential to my success during these interviews, so I will definitely look you up again when it is time to apply for residency.

Thank you again for your great work with me Bill. I'll keep in touch!"

The Top 25 Deadly Mistakes Candidates Make That Ruin Veterinary School Interviews and How to Avoid Them

What appears to be common sense or obvious about veterinary interviewing is often quite counterintuitive. As a veterinary interview coach of many years, I see that most clients who come to me are still harboring many dangerous ways of thinking about their upcoming veterinary interviews. These incorrect thoughts cause all sorts of troubles for them when they prepare to interview, and in the actual interview. I designed this article so you can easily see the incorrect thought, why it is a problem (and how this is perceived to be undesirable by the interviewer) and most importantly, what you can do to PREVENT this from happening.

Four of The Top 25 Deadly Mistakes Candidates Make That Ruin Medical School Interviews and How to Avoid Them

"Bill is very natural and genuine. Not only does he have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of interview coaching, but he cares about each of his clients. He gave me 110% of his time and focus during our sessions and he always followed up with me after sessions about things we had talked about or with questions I had. He was excited about my success as much as I was so it was more than just a basic preparation for an interview -- this was a goal that we worked together to achieve.

Bill is great with constructive critiquing. He was great at boosting my confidence and pointing out areas I could improve in without making me self-conscious. Just like any coach gets their athletes prepared and excited for a game, Bill got me excited for my interview which I think improved my performance overall. He also made himself available for my needs and prepared a plan for me so I had plenty of good practice.

Bill taught me how to adjust my answers and body language based on visual cues from my interviewer. This was helpful to remind me not to fidget, stay relaxed, and sum up my answers. I also learned how to pace myself and deliver complete, yet not too long, answers.

The books and handouts that Bill gave me were extremely helpful. They were relevant to what I was working on and helped me to prepare for future sessions with Bill as well as prepare for my interview on my own time."
