Take This Test Anxiety Assessment

See How Test Stress Hits You So You Can Take Steps To Stop It

How many of these apply to you when it comes to test taking and stress?

  • You are showing symptoms of academic burnout.
  • You are underperforming on tests.
  • Academic pressures are causing problems at home.
  • The stress of studying and test-taking is creating anxiety.

The bottom line? You are not only underperforming on tests, but the stress is really getting to you. Or, in contrast, maybe you are getting fine grades, but the stress is causing you and your family all sorts of problems. In either case, you need to do something.

This test anxiety assessment is meant to quickly provide you with the big picture in test stress management skills. It will serve as a launching point for understanding how the stress management coaching process will unfold. I believe that stress management training begins the moment you begin completing this assessment. This assessment is very simple and easy to complete, and should take you around five minutes.

The 56 Symptoms Of Test Stress

Here are 56 symptoms of test stress that people I've helped overcome test stress have described to me. Use this as a self-assessment and rate yourself to see specifically how test pressure affects you. Select a number next to the items that you typically experience before or during tests, to denote the degree of severity of each symptom.

If you've hired me as your test stress management coach, please fill out this form and press the Submit button at the end of the assessment to email this back to me before our first coaching session. You may also use this form for your self-analysis, to begin working on your test stress issues.

Use this scale to measure the severity each symptom has on your test taking performance:

  1. Does not apply to you
  2. Minimal degree
  3. Moderate degree
  4. Disturbing degree
  5. Severe degree
  6. Debilitating degree

Here are the actual symptoms I want you to consider. How many of these do you experience?
